Style & Character
Keeping with the theme of its trendy neighborhood, the Akyra Manor is a super modern and sophisticated property with a young contemporary vibe found throughout, even in the smallest details.
The hotel has been carefully curated piece by piece by Thailand-based Akaryn Hotel Group and Singaporean design house Manor Studio. Art installations, curvaceous sofas and designer lighting. The colours are also very natural, a palette of browns and greys.
The hotel’s stylised facade is inspired by Chiang Mai’s ancient crumbling city wall.
Service & Facilities
Akyra Manor only contains 30 rooms, which means there is a high staff to guests ratio, ensuring a high standard of personalised service from check-in to check-out.
The excellent English-speaking staff can arrange everything from art lessons with local university professors to temple photography tours and cooking classes.
The property has a small gym and although there’s no spa, treatments can be arranged in your room.
WiFi is complimentary, reliable and fast.
One of the hotel’s highlights is the stunning rooftop infinity pool, which overlooks the city. The perfect place to unwind during the day and to enjoy the sunset over Chiang Mai later in the day.
The roof top bar “Rise” offers delicious cocktails.. From 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., all cocktails and local beers are buy one get one free.
The property also features “Italics”, voted as the best Italian restaurant in town. The menu offers both, Thai and Italian specialities – all delicious and well-priced. Especially the pizzas from a wood burning oven and the selection of homemade pastas are a delight.
Breakfast is included in your stay at the Akyra Manor and also served at the “Italics” restaurant. There is a small buffet offering all sorts of bread, yoghurts, and fresh juices and smoothies. In addition, each guest can order two choices from their extensive menu, both Western and local dishes.
The concept is excellent as the food will be freshly prepared just for you!
The 30 suites are spacious and created around a courtyard within a room concept.
The huge, private outdoor bathtub is situated on the balcony, between the bathroom and the bedroom, an airy design that provides the option of full privacy with shades.
The lavish bathroom includes a separate his and hers dressing area, seperate shower and amenities such as high quality soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush & toothpaste and vanity kit.
The centrepiece of the master bedroom is a double-sided wardrobe. One side has a large flatscreen TV facing the King sized bed, the other side features a mirror and small seating space with fully stocked minibar.
The firm bed is dressed in super soft 430-thread-count Egyptian cotton and a pile of comfy pillows. A pillow menu is located in each room.
To support your sleep and you can even choose to have your pillows spritzed down with your choice of aromatic sprays and in addition a Thai herbal drink is placed beside the bed every evening.
